Description
A bull Moose with velvet antlers in an artistically enhanced misty green woodland forest. Wildlife art design for your home or office.
The moose, Alces americanus, is the largest species in the deer family and the tallest mammal in North America. It stands six feet tall from shoulders to feet.
Male Moose are distinguished by the broad, flat antlers. Females do not have antlers. Moose typically inhabit mixed forests of the Northern Hemisphere. Moose are solitary animals and do not form herds. Although generally slow-moving and sedentary, moose can become aggressive and move quickly if angered or startled. Female Moose with calves are protective of their young and are especially dangerous.
