Jennie Marie Schell is one of the six winners of the Orvis Cover Dog Contest. Her photo "Sleeping in the Morning Light Golden Retriever" will be the cover of the February 2012 Orvis Dog Catalog and was chosen from over 15,000 entries.

Artist photographer Jennie Marie Schell was awarded 1st Place in the Nature Division and Best of Show for her photo "Peek a Boo Barred Owl" in the 2011 Washington State Photographers Exhibition at the Puyallup State Fair September 9 - 25.
She also won an Honorable Mention in the Animal Division competition for her Golden Retriever Dogs photo "Kiss after the Swim"
